We enroll students directly at our partner universities, where they take English-taught courses on campus alongside local students.
Access Study Abroad is a brand new study abroad company built by professionals who have spent their careers in international education, running study abroad operations overseas, building education organisations, and helping students find programs around the world.

What does "classes taught in English" mean?
Your subject courses, from business to engineering to the arts, are taught entirely in English. It isn’t an English-language program. Because so many universities now teach full courses in English, you can study your major in far more countries without speaking the local language first.
Why use Access instead of applying directly?
You can apply on your own or through a home-university exchange. Access helps you compare suitable programs, coordinate course approval, understand the full budget, manage applications and preparation, and know which expert is responsible at each stage. If a direct or exchange option fits you better, we will tell you.
Who will I work with?
Two teams of experts. Admissions experts help you choose a program, prepare your course approval packet and apply. After you confirm your place, student services experts guide your preparation, arrival, time abroad and return. Our 24/7 service hotline is there for urgent help.
What is direct enrollment?
Direct enrollment means our students enroll in the host university's own courses, as a student of that university, alongside its students, rather than in a separate program run for international students that isolates you from the real student experience.
Why can it cost less?
We unbundle what full-service providers package together. You pay tuition directly, arrange your own housing, add excursions only if you want them, and use the university’s own international student services instead of paying for a company’s staff on campus. Each program page lists its fees, outside expenses and the date they were last verified, and the cost calculator shows the full picture.
Is housing included?
It’s your choice. Add housing to your program package for one combined price, or leave it out and arrange your own, with guidance, referrals and agents from the host university. Your cost estimate shows housing either way.
Who supports me without company staff on campus?
The host university’s international and visiting-student office, which already serves students like you, plus Access student services experts from acceptance to return and our 24/7 service hotline.
Which terms can I choose?
Summer, winter, semester or a full academic year, depending on the host university’s calendar.
Will credits transfer?
Your home university decides. We provide course descriptions, syllabi, calendars and transcript procedures for its study abroad office, and track the review with you. Credit is not guaranteed.
Can I go if my college doesn't sponsor study abroad?
Yes, in many cases. Some partner universities accept first-year college students without a school of record. Our admissions experts will tell you which programs fit.
Who is behind Access Study Abroad?
Access is the study abroad division of International TEFL Academy, which has served more than 50,000 students in over 100 countries since 2010.
Are courses taught in English?
Yes, all courses we offer in every destination, including countries where English isn't the local language, are taught in English. Foreign language courses are optionally available in some locations.
How much does an Access Study Abroad program cost?
We don't have final pricing just yet, but all program fees are inclusive of academic coursework, housing and comprehensive support. As programs are announced, our detailed program fee information will be available.
When do programs start?
We're working hard to finalize partner university agreements right now, so we will publish each new program and its start and end dates as each is confirmed. Pre-apply now to hear about each program launch first.
